Alonso Aims First Victory in Valencia

"I know the fans want to see Ferrari's first victory."

Fernando Alonso believes Ferrari have a great chance to snatch his first victory in F1 2011 on the European Grand Prix in Valencia, Sunday, June 26, 2011.

Alonso has a chance for their first win in the last two races, Monaco and Canada. Spaniard won second place in Monaco.

In Canada Alonso also likely winner before the accident involving Jenson Button (McLaren) and failed to finish.

Alonso Ferrari considers increasing appearance in the last two races, and the F1 world champion 2005 and 2006 the rate matches the character of Valencia Circuit Ferrari.

"I know the fans really want to see us (Ferrari) won the first victory this season and I can confirm we are also desperate to win. In the last two races we've shown that we can win, especially in Monaco," Alonso said as quoted by Autosport.

"Now we come to the track a character similar to Montreal (Canada), and there is no reason why we are not competitive here as well (Valencia)," said Alonso.

The Spaniard was then hoping to have better luck in the next race. Alonso had difficulty early in the season.

"I always believe in luck and bad luck are always balanced. In general this season, I had no luck. Racing in Montreal, we had no luck," added Alonso.
