Oliver Tolentino is the first Filipino ever to participate at the El Paseo Fashion Week at Palm Springs, California. He headlined an elite field of designers and opened up his show last March 20. Proudly Filipino, Tolentino hails from Bataan and presented around 50 plus designs that showcased Philippine fabrics. PLaying with colors and fabrics is one trademark of Tolentino. His designs brings a great mix of the East and the sophistication of the West.
Oliver made big waves in the fashion industry last year when he won the Sustainable Eco Fashion Award at the 2010 Bahamas Fashion Week
