If you’ve been keeping tabs like us, you may have noticed an increase in the number of celebs dabbling in the world of modeling. Recent ads such as the new Armani Exchange or Balenciaga campaigns rely on the appeal of face recognition and familiar celebrity personalities to sell clothes. We enjoy seeing women like Victoria Beckham and Jennifer Connelly vamp it up for the sake of fashion, but we love to spot our favorite models outside of the pages of magazines too.
There is something to be said for the new Gap Fall/Winter 2009 campaign, shot by Craig McDean, which gives name credits to some of our favorite models. We love to see these guys and gals get the recognition they deserve, and you never know: maybe they’ll be household names one day!
