MALAN BRETON FALL/WINTER 2010 FASHION SHOW

Designer Malan Breton presented his Fall/Winter 2010 Fashion Show at Style 360 on Wednesday afternoon, February 17th. Malan’s inspiration for his beautiful men’s and women’s collection was Bombay meets Fritz Lang’s “Metropolis” in a winter fantasy.

The show featured two special guests. American Idol’s popular finalist from last season, Anoop Desai gave a sneak preview performance of his new single, “My Name” which will be released next month. Malan designed arsenic and noir embroidered black lace shawl lapel tuxedo. Escorting Malan at the end of the show was Countess LuAnn de Lesepps, star of “Real Housewives of New York City” and author of “Class with the Countess”, who wore a specially designed pyrite and saffron mylar and silk corsetiere with matching fishtail underlay.

Colors for the season included red, gray mist, saffron, sandstone, blue, golden bronze and noir.

Front row celebrities included Malan’s Project Runway friends, Suede and winner Leanne Marshall; American Idol’s Constantine Maroulis (currently on Broadway starring in “Rock of Ages”) with Tinsley Mortimer, “Real Housewives of New York” stars Jill Zarin and Alex McCord, Mark Indelicato from “Ugly Betty”, Grammy winning composer Desmond Child, and Ronnie Kroell , from “Make Me A Supermodel”.
