Paertake Weekly - Here comes the sun!!
Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday! I'm excited cause I get on the plane tomorow to go see my sister and brothers! It's been a couple years so it's way overdue! I'm ready for some rest, relaxation, and lots of fun catching up with everyone! It's time for a new challenge from Papertake Weekly, and this week the challenge is "here comes the sun". We're being sponsored by The Ribbon Girl! For my card, I used Strawberry Girl from Mo Manning Digital Pencil. I fell in love with her when I saw her!
She's colored with Copic markers (list is below) and then cut out using oval Nesties and petite scalloped oval Nesties. She's then popped up from the rest of the card. The DP is Best Creation and all the cardstock is from Bazzill. The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and the big butterfly is a Cuttlebug cut and emboss set. I used some pink Liquid Pearls on it too. The little butterflies are from an EK Success punch.
This is the card for my June Coloring with Copics class I give at my local scrapbook store. Hope they enjoy putting it together as much as I enjoyed designing it. So that's it for my card for today. Please be sure and pop over to Papertake Weekly and check out all the fantastic cards by my teamies! Then we'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us. Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! I will be out of reach for the next week. So I'll see you all when I get back next week! Hugs!

Papertake Weekly - Dad and lads
Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday! It's time for another new challenge from Papertake Weekly and this week the challenge is Dads and lads! With Father's Day right around the corner, it's the perfect time for you to get your cards made and be able to join in the challenge too! We're being sponsored this week by Whiff of Joy. For my card, I used this adorable image from Mo's Digital Pencil called Harvard. Isn't he so adorable?? My grandson Chris graduated from Kindergarten last week, so I just had to use this cute little guy on his card. He's colored up with Copic markers.
Being a card for a young man, of course I had to refrain from all the ribbon and flowers. so I kept everything nice and simple, but tried to add lots of interest using bright colors and placing everything a little wonky on the card. I cut the A+ with my Cricut Expression using my Gypsy to weld the shadow of the two together, then cutting and popping up the top layer of them. The papers are from Nitwit Collections matted with Bazzill cardstock. I wrapped some PTI twine around one of the layers and tied it in a simple little bow. All the panels are machine stitched. The "let's celebrate" stamp is from an old Kim Hughes set and I stamped it on some school paper that is actually on my printer. I just printed it on cardstock. I wish I had taken a picture of the inside top cause I put a cute Kim Hughes owl wearing a little grad cap on another piece of the school paper. It turned out really cute, but I didn't capture it with a pic.
So that's it for my card this week. Please be sure to hop over to Papertake Weekly to see the rest of the fabulous creations by the design team. Then we'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us for a chance to win a wonderful prize from Whiff of Joy! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Papertake Weekly - Anything goes with option
Hi everyone! How's your week going? What a weekend! We ended up with a clogged drain this weekend, and of course didn't find out until I put a load of laundry in and it started to drain. Needless to say our utility room was flooded with water as it was spewing out the hose drain! UGH! A plumber and 200 bucks later (seriously??? to run a snake down a drain??? Am I in the wrong business???), I was back to being able to get my laundry done. LOL! With today being Tuesday, it's time for a new challenge from Papertake Weekly. Since this is the first Tuesday in the month, it's an anything goes challenge with the optional extra of an all white color theme with one other accent color (excluding hair and skin). Well, I'll be honest, I tried the all the white and it just didn't work out for me! Thank goodness it's optional! *smiles* We are sponsored this week by the amazing Lili of the Valley! WOOHOO!! Who doesn't LOVE their images and sentiments??!!
For my card today, I used one of my brand new stamps from the amazing and fabulous Diana over at Magnolia-licious!! She's #3019 Tilda playing hopscotch from the new Sweet Rainbow collection! LOVE these images! Is she not soooo sweet?! You know...when I was little, I LOVED Easter cause I always got brand new outfit, including new patent leather shoes and socks with a frilly, lacy edging. I would go outside to the driveway to play hopscotch so I could stare at my shoes and socks! LOL! What can I say... Anyway....this brand new collection is in stock and shipping right now from Magnolia-licious!! I used Copic markers to color her (colors listed below if you're interested). These delicious papers are from Nitwit Collections Bumbleberry set and the cardstock is Bazzill. I used an EK Success punch for the butterflies (I just punched them out once with the cardstock and once with the pattern paper and attached them in the center only), and of course my sentiment is from Lili of the Valley from the Dreamy Sentiments set. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the bow is made with May Arts silk ribbon. All the panels are machine stitched.
That's it for my card today! Please be sure to pop over to Papertake Weekly to see the rest of the gorgeous creations by the design team and then we would truly love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and join us in the challenge! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Papertake Weekly - Sketch Week
Hi everyone! I hope you were lucky enough to enjoy a 3 day weekend and that you had nice weather for the unofficial start of summer. It was actually snowing here on Saturday night, believe it or not! YUCK! We've had a very cool spring this year and I'm ready for some warmer weather! I just know that summer is going to hit hard when it finally gets here. With it being Tuesday, that means it's time for a new challenge from Papertake Weekly! This week is sketch week! I love sketch week! Dawny is the sketch Queen!! Since it's the last Tuesday in the month, that means we're being sponsored by the awesome Simon Says Stamp!!
For my card today, I used #377 Traveling Tilda (isn't she just the cutest little thing???) from the Bon Voyage collection at Magnolia-licious, along with #525 Spring Fence. I don't see the full size available right now, but you can get it in the mini version!! I changed it from a spring fence to a summer fence by just covering up the daffodils with some tiny flowers. They are colored with Copic markers, and Tilda is fussy cut and popped up for dimension. These yummy papers are from Raspberry Road and they're double matted with Bazzill card stock. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I also added some Kaiser flat backed pearls. That lucious bow is made with May Arts Silk Ribbon from Stamp and Create.
So that's it for my card today! Sure hope you pop over to Papertake Weekly and check out all the amazing creations from the rest of the design team! Then we'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and join us in the challenge! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!!

Papertake Weekly - Pale and Pretty Pastels
Hi everyone and happy Tuesday! Hope you're having a wonderful start to your week and that your weather is being nice to you! My thoughts and prayers are with all who are being affected by these terrible storms! Please stay safe!!! It's time for a new challenge from Papertake Weekly, and this week Dawny is asking for pale and pretty pastels! We're being sponsored this week by Wendy over at Digital Delights by Louby Loo! For my card, I chose to use two of my new images from the Butterfly Dreams collection over at Magnolia-licious. Diana has the most awesome store with the largest on-line selection of Magnolia stamps in North America!! And I don't know what you think, but I seriously don't know how they do it!! Each new collection just keeps getting cuter and cuter! I used
#370 Tilda holding daffodil, #505 Stone pathway, and the swing is also Magnolia, but I can't find it in the store right now. If you're interested, please contact Diana.
The images are all colored with Copic markers. I have to admit, I don't do pale very well, so I think my coloring leaves a lot to be desired with this one. But I tried. LOL! The swing was masked to stamp the stone pathway over it, but Tilda was cut out and popped up for the dimension. I can tell I will be using the stone pathway a lot! The circle sentiment is from Lili of the Valley, the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the papers are from Nitwit Collections. The delicious ribbon is May Arts Silk ribbon from Stamp and Create.
That's about it for this one! Please be sure and visit the rest of my DT sisters over at Papertake Weekly to see all their gorgeous creations. Then we'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday! It's time for a new challenge from Papertake Weekly, and this week it's "bloom and grow". So use flowers, flowery paper, anything that goes along with bloom and grow for your challenge entry. This week we're sponsored by The Ribbon Girl! They were so generous as to allow us to play with the adorable Molly Blooms images for our cards this week! Isn't she soooo adorable? I love her!!
I've got a zillion things going on at this moment, so this is going to be a really quick post. I apologize, but if you have any questions about the card, please do not hesitate to email me!

Papertake Weekly - Fancy a Punch?
Hi everyone and welcome to a new Papertake Weekly challenge! This week, Dawny is asking us use our punches! We're sponsored this week by the awesome Dies to Die For! I actually used several punches and several dies as well! As soon as I laid eyes on this adorable image, I absolutely HAD to have her!! So I jumped straight over to Bunny Zoe's Crafts and snatched her up quickly! She's a Nellie Snellen image called Schoffie Taily Hair and she's so stinkin' CUTE! LOL! I can't get over her hair.
She's colored with Copic markers and then cut out with circle and petite scalloped Nesties. It's then plopped on top of a frame made with a Martha Stewart punch around the page set. That pretty doily peeking out from behind the frame is a doily made with a die by Cheery Lynn Designs (available at Dies to Die For). The flourish is from a Doohickey die from Magnolia-licious. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaves are another Martha Stewart punch. Oh, and the ticket is a Whimsy die and stamp that I also got from Bunny Zoe's Crafts.
I honestly do not remember where I got the ribbon from, but I'd just about bet that I got it from Stamp and Create. The cardstock I used is Bazzill and the DP's are from Nitwit Collections (Toadally Yours). That gorgeous metal corner is from a wonderful friend Cami! Thanks again Cami!! Stay tuned for a gorgeous book card she sent me. I've got to get some pictures taken so I can show you. You are gonna be blown away by how beautiful it is! Please pop over to Papertake Weekly to see all the gorgeous creations by the talented DT, and then we'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us for a chance to win a wonderful prize from Dies To Die For!! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

May Magnolia-licious DT Sketch challenge for Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes!
Good morning and Happy Tuesday! I love it when Mondays are done and over with! LOL! And one of the reasons for that is Tuesday brings a new challenge from Papertake Weekly! Now this month I combined my Papertake challenge with our montthly Magnolia DT sketch challenge. This month, the sketch is by our extremely talented and head designer Suzanne Dean!! This was a great sketch to work with Suzanne, Thank you!! Since this is the first Tuesday of the month over at Papertake Weekly, that means the new challenge is "anything goes" ! This months option is to use something round on your card (which was also included in Suzannne's sketch). It also means that we're being sponsored by the fabulous Lili of the Valley at Papertake Weekly!
For my card today, I used this adorable #214 King Tilda from the You Are So Special collection at Magnolia-licious. I don't see her in stock right now, but if you contact Diana, she'll be happy to help you out. I also used #594 Balloon Background and #427 Lazy Summer Flowers! They're all colored with Copic markers. For the paper lace, I used a Magnolia Doohickey Die.
The cardstock is Bazzill and the DP is from an old DCWV stack Nana's Kitchen. The ticket stamp and die cut is from Whimsy and are also colored with Copic markers to match the card. That beautiful lace on the horizontal piece is by Prima which I got from Bunny Zoes Crafts, and the ribbon is May Arts Silk which I purchased from Stamp and Create. For the circle portion of the card, I used a fabulous doily die from Cheery Lynn Designs! LOVE them!! And the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts of course.
You can see there's lots of dimension on this card, simply cause I love dimension. So instead of masking, I usually like cutting out my images and layering them up in the scene to give that nice depth. That background paper....well......I tried to used Cabio's fabulous tutorial for clouds but I failed miserably. LOL! I think I need to practice a little with that one. Cabio's always looks so perfect and makes it look so easy! :) I'm glad most of mine was covered up so you really couldn't tell just how bad it really is. LOL! And for those of you that have asked....
Nothing super special on the inside, but decorated nicely to complement the outside. So that's it for me today! Please be sure to pop over to Magnolia-licious Highlites to see all the amazing creations by the design team for Suzanne's sketch. And also please be sure to visit Papertake Weekly to see all the gorgeous work by the design team over there! And then we'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and join in the challenges with us! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon!!

It's time for a new challenge from Papertake Weekly, and this week it's "Anything Goes" sponsored by the amazing Lili of the Valley! For my card this week, I used this adorable image "waiting for rain" by Mo Manning at Digital Pencil Too. I fell in love with her when I saw her and just had to have her. She's colored with Copic markers (list below).
That adorable little birdie is from Mangolia-licious and the sentiment is a very old Penny Black stamp. (boy did I have to dig to find this one!) Cardstock is Bazzill, DP is April Showers by Three Bugs in a Rug, and I used a Martha Stewart "punch around the page" set for the flower panel. I also added machine stitching and the pearls are Martha Stewart.

Papertake Weekly - Sketch Week
Hi everyone! I'm soooo excited cause we're actually getting some spring weather instead of blizzards! LOL! It was sunny all day yesterday and in the 50's, and then we're supposed to be in the high 70's by Friday! It might rain next weekend, but I don't care! It's still not going to be yucky snow! LOL! Moving on from the weathr report, it's time for a new challenge from Papertake Weekly!! We get to play with one of Dawny's fabulous sketches, and we are sponsored this week by the wonderful Simon Says Stamp!
For my card, I used one of Peggy's cute Easter Cutouts from Peggy Loves Vintage. It's so very easy to make cards using her images! You just print one out, mat it, and attach it to your card! I think I've said it before, about the only way it's going to get any easier is to walk into a store and buy a card! Be sure and visit Peggy's blog and become a follower! She loves to give away free images!!
Cardstock is Bazzill, DP is from Nitwit Collections, flowers are Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is May Arts 100% silk from Stamp and Create. I added machine stitching and popped up each individual panel. Sorry I didn't get a pic of the dimension this time. Please be sure and visit Papertake Weekly to see the rest of my talented teamies creations. Then we'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along! Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon!

Hi friends and happy Tuesday! It's time for a new challenge over at Papertake Weekly, and this weeks challenge from Dawny is It's a Mom Thing! She is asking us to make a card for your Mom, or just make a girly card! We are sponsored this week by Digital Delights by Louby Loo. The card I'm showing you today is one I made almost a month ago for my blogging friend Charlene.
I used the adorable #293 Tilda with a Small Gift from the You Are So Special collection at Magnolia-licious. She's colored with Copic markers. Sorry...it's been so long since I've colored this, I don't remember everything I used. But I do know I used RV91, 93, and 95 for her dress and socks. The papers are Basic Grey and the cardstock is Bazzill. I also used the Vintage Tag Doohickey Die.
The flowers are from WOC and the bow was made using the Bow Easy and May Arts silk ribbon.
So that's it for me today! Please be sure and pop over to Papertake Weekly to see all the wonderful creations from the rest of my teamates. Then we'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us! Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Papertake Weekly - Trio-Tastic
Happy Tuesday everyone! It's time for a new challenge from Papertake Weekly, and this week the challenge it Trio-Tastic. Dawny is asking that you use three of something on your card/project ie shapes, papers, flowers, whatever you want. We are sponsored this week by The Ribbon Girl! I used three colors (red, white, black) and two clusters of three flowers each. For my card, I used one of the new Magnolia images from the brand new Butterfly Dreams collection. She's be available soon at Magnolia-licious ! Be sure to check out this adorable collection as there are some that are available for purchase right now!
She's so cute and so versatile as you can have her looking at whatever you want! I chose to have her looking at the adorable Magnolia ladybug image. Unfortunately I don't see it in stock right now either, but if you're interested, please contact Diana. The images are colored with Copic markers. Cardstock is Bazzill and the PP are one of the first digital papers I ever got. Since it was my first, it was before I was smart enough to save them under the name of the company I got it from. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the sentiment is just printed from my computer.
Please be sure and pop over to Papertake Weekly to check out the fabulous creations by the rest of the design team. And then we'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!!

Good mornings friends! I hope you enjoyed your weekend and are now having a wonderful start to the new week! I'm always happy once we've made it past Monday! LOL! Not only because we have Monday behind us, but because it's now time for a new Papertake Weekly challenge! Wow, we sure had a wonderful turnout to last weeks challenge! Thanks so much to everyone for all your participation and support! Because of you, we are #1 at Wikio again this week! YAY!!! How wonderful is that!! So anyway, onto the new challenge! It's Pancake Day over in the UK, so Dawny wants to see lots of lemon, or any zingy colors you want to use. And we are sposored by my fabulous sis over at Peggy Loves Vintage! You can also visit Peggy's blog. Be sure and follow, cause she LOVES to post freebie vintage images!
Peggy's Bio:
Hi, I'm lucky enough to be a retired grandma who spends her days working with my vintage card collection.
My husband and I have shared 35 years together and we have 2 sons and a daughter and 2 glorious grandkids ages 2 and 5.
I started collecting vintage cards quite by accident. I was helping with my aunts estate sale and ran across her collection. The cards were so wonderful that I fell in love with them and have been collecting them ever since.
I love to get a new vintage scrapbook and read all about the lives and times of the individual. Some of their stories are truely inspiring.
Isn't she adorable??!! She's from Peggy Loves Vintage and is available on two different set of Cut Outs. It's in Goldilocks and the Three Bears as well as Sweet Little Girls 2. I printed her out three times. I put two on the front, one popped up from the other for dimension. I used the third on the inside by the sentiment panel. The cardstock is Bazzill and I used two different sets of Pink Petticoat papers, Gingham and Lots of Dots.
I added some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, ribbon is from Stamp and Create, charm is a gift, and I used Nesties for the frame that she is standing in. Oh my gosh, I almost forgot. The doily peeking out from behind was cut with my Cricut and the Martha Stewart Elegant Cake Art cart. I can't believe all the fabulous cuts on this cart. It has doilies! Loooove it!! The glittered heart is by Melissa Frances. That's it for my card today! Please be sure and visit Papertake Weekly to see the rest of the fabulous creations by the amazingly talented design team! And then we'd love it if you'd join us with your zingy colored projects! You might get lucky and win a prize from Peggy Loves Vintage! Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

With it being Tuesday, it's time for a new challenge from Papertake Weekly, and this week is your favorite - Anything Goes!! We're beeing sponsored by Lili of the Valley. For my card, I used Little Ballerina. Isn't she so adorable? I also used Dreamy Sentiments for the circle sentiment.
She's colored with Copic markers and then cut out with a Nestie. The papers are Tippy Toes from Nitwit Collections, and the cardstock is Bazzill. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon from Stamp and Create. I also have a Magnolia Doohickey doily peeking out from under the panel as well. The panels are machine stitched.
