Three Clovers Designs - an ornament!

Happy Friday Eve! WOOHOO!! It's time for a new challenge from Kerry over at Three Clovers Designs, and this week, she is asking for an ornament. Well, I went a little different with this one. I had fallen in love with this funny stamp that I got from Bunny Zoe's shop, and have just been waiting for the perfect time to use it. And finally, this was it! I wanted to make an ornament that was also a gift card. So I used my Cricut Expression along with the Joys of The Season cartridge and cut out this ornament shaped card. In the center I placed this stamp that I colored with Copic markers. I also used fun fluff on his suit and hat, and white flower soft for the snow on the roof. I cut another circle and cut it in half for the gift card holder on the inside left. Then I set out to make up a little verse for the inside of the gift card.

If you can't read it, you can just click on the picture so you'll be able to. I strung a ribbon through the top and it's now ready to hang a gift card on the tree! DP is Basic Grey and cardstock is Bazzill. Please be sure and visit Three Clovers Designs to check out the rest of the team's fabulous creations, and then we'd love it if you would grab your paper and glue and play along! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!!

3 Clover Thursday Challenge - Digi dowload challenge

Hi everyone! It sure is nice to be crafting again! It's Thursday, which means it's time for a new challenge from Kerry over at Three Clovers Designs. This week, she is doing a techie time challenge. Either use a digital download or create a background using your computer. I usually use the digi stamps from The Cutting Cafe, but I just recently got this adorable stamp, and well, I just HAD to use it! The image came from Digital Pencil Too. It reminded me too much of my grandson saying his goodnight prayers (even if he does have dark hair). So I couldn't resist.

I colored it with my copic markers, and used some of the markers that came in the new set of 12 pastel colors that I got from Magnolia-licious. These colors are so delicious! I also used some of my brand new silk ribbon that I got from Sharon at No Time To Stamp, Stamp Simply ribbon store. I have been looking for a good source for silk ribbon for ages, and I've finally found it. It just lays (lies???) on your card so nice and it's light as a feather. I was also lucky enough to win a wonderful little tool called Bow Easy from Sharon. Now I can't say that I couldn't make a bow before I got this little tool, but I will say that it took me a while with a lot of fidgeting with the ribbon to get it to look just right. Well, with the Bow Easy, it's one..two...three...and you have a FABULOUS looking bow! For all of you that have commented on my bows or asked me how I made them, please do yourself a favor and invest in this awesome little tool.

Ok, that's it for today. Please be sure and pop over to Three Clovers Designs to check out the rest of the fabulous cards the DT created. You're gonna love them! And then grab your digi downloads and play along with us! Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!
This card will be for sale in my etsy shop if you're interested.

Three Clovers Designs Thursday challenge - May Flowers and Cute Card Thursdays too!

EDIT - Sorry, I forgot to list the information on the flower stamp. It's Daisy Curls by Stampendous. Just click on the name. I've linked it to the stamp at Addicted To Rubber Stamping. Also - Thank you Claudia for leading me over to Cute Card Thursday!!

Happy Friday Eve!! It's Thursday and that means it's time to reveal the new challenge for Three Clover Designs. This week, Kerry is asking for May Flowers. I LOVE springtime with all the beautiful flowers and warmer weather! So I started by choosing this cute paper by My Mind's Eye with all the little flowers.

I fell in love with this flower stamp the moment I saw my friend Nikki use it last year! I had to immediately purchase it, and this is actually the first time I inked it up. I can't believe it took me this long to use it!! I stamped it several times and layered the flowers with dimensional tape.
I cut the word "hi" with my Expression machine and the Hello Kitty font cartridge. I cut it out six times with my Bazzill cardstock, and created the faux chipboard letters. Love the chunkiness of it!

I bordered the flower panel with strips of apron lace I got with my Martha Stewart border punch. I'm so addicted to those border punches!! Somebody stop me!!! I added some dew drops in the center of the flowers.

That's it for today! Please be sure and visit Three Clover Thursdays to see the fabulous projects the rest of the Inspiration Team came up with! We'd love it if you would join in and play along with us!! Thanks so much for stopping by to visit, and hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!

3 Clovers Thursday Challenge

Happy Thursday everyone, or as I love to call it, Happy Friday Eve!! WOOHOO! One more day and then the weekend. I do love my weekends! But right now, Thursdays mean that it's time for the reveal of the new challenge over at Three Clovers Designs! This weeks theme is "It's a zoo around here". How fun is that?!
I chose to use my cute little ellie from the Dr Peanut set from Our Craft Lounge. I just love this poor little sick ellie! I colored him up with my copic markers and cut him out with my nesties. Then I mounted it on a really cool half circle shaped card from The Cutting Cafe'. Isn't the shape of it awesome??!! I truly love Regina's cutting files!

I added a big pink gingham bow centered with some Prima flowers and that beautiful little rose in the center was a wonderful gift from my seriously talented DT sistah Jacque. Thanks Jacque! The DP is by Imaginisce (love it!!) and cardstock is Bazzill.

Colors of copics used: RVOO, RV32, G21, G24, G09, B41, R46
Please be sure and visit Three Clovers Designs to see the rest of the talented inspiration teams projects, then grab your paper, glue, and animals, and play along. 3 Clovers Thursday Challenge

EDIT: A big thanks to Enfys! She let me know that this stamp is an Alota stamp. Just click here. Thanks for your help Enfys!!

It's Thursday and time for another challenge over at Three Clovers Designs! This week, Kerry's challenge is to create a birthday card using purple and glitter to celebrate her birthday on April 1st. Happy early birthday Kerry!! This was fun cause I just never use the color purple. Don't know why cause I really like the softer shades of it, in fact I really love lavender.
Anyway, I had this cute little image in my stash that I got from Dawny P (check out her blog), so I have no idea who it's by. Sorry! The DP is Basic Grey and the cardstock is Bazzill. The stamp is colored with my Copic markers, and I stickled her little coat for the glitter.

Added some wired silk ribbon along with a Prima flower and a Making Memories brad, and that just about completes this card. Please be sure and visit Three Clovers Designs to check out what the rest of the Inspiration Team created for this challenge. And then we'd love it if you'd grab your purple paper and glitter and play along with us!
Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! It's almost Friday!!! HUGS!
