NYC recap and Ann Taylor windows

Matt and I went on a last, last minute trip to NYC earlier in the week/weekend and had a great time. We've both never been so everything was new. :) It was mostly meetings and business, but we did get to squeeze in some great meals and sightseeing.

English Dept. Novel Romance Fashion Show 2011

I always love everything at Elizabeth Dye's shop, The English Dept. I also love that Elizabeth is always so sweet and lets me make some pretty things for the Novel Romance Fashion show. You know she made my wedding dress and many wonderful things... yes? Matt and I went to the Novel Romance show yesterday and had a great time. Held at the Ace Hotel event space, the Cleaners, the place was packed. I loved seeing all of Elizabeth's dresses, but also loved the new Ivy & Aster dresses. Bouquets (which I adored) were by Ink & Peat. I took a few photos from the back row so excuse the heads in the photos. There will be many more beautiful photos by Lisa Warninger (of course!) coming soon.

Tag7 Photography

At Elizabeth Messina's Workshop last month, I had the pleasure of meeting Andrea Langer, an amazig photographer for husband and wife photography company, Tag7. They are currently based in Switzerland, and have stunning photos. Andrea is one of the sweetest and loveliest ladies around. She is great to work! In addition to her raw talent, she is soooo stylish. I have to pay attention to fashion, and I definitely noticed her awesome outfits all week (not to mention she has hair commercial quality gorgeous long locks). I just cannot gush enough about her. Be sure to visit their blog HERE and say "hello!"
Recently, she posted some amazing photos of model, Gina Moore wearing a Twigs & Honey head piece and Elizabeth Dye shrug (that's my shrug!). Isn't Gina gorgeous, by the way??

Thank you, Andrea!!

Lovely Bridal Shop

I cannot wait for Lanie's Lovely bridal shop to open, April 8th! It is the perfect place for lovely and unique brides to find that perfect dress, accessory, or dresses for their bridesmaids. PLUS! I know there are many brides that get in touch asking where they can try Twigs & Honey pieces on in New York.... well here's your chance! Lovely bridal shop will be carrying Twigs & Honey pieces. Hooray! I shipped off a bunch of pretty pieces earlier in the week and more today. I've been in such a rush, I haven't been able to photograph all the pieces, but here are a couple:

One of the first headbands in an exciting new line due in a few weeks.

The shop will also be carrying dresses from one of my personal favorites, Elizabeth Dye!
I have more surprises that will be in Lovely in the future. Stay tuned!
