Lorenzo Wanted to Give Yamaha a Special Gift

Lorenzo hopes to put pressure for Casey Stoner in Assen.

Last MotoGP world champion Jorge Lorenzo wants to give a special gift for his team, Yamaha. This tuning fork bearing the team will celebrate 50 years of participation in the event of the MotoGP Grand Prix in the Netherlands, Saturday, June 25, 2011.

Circuit race at Assen this weekend, will be very special for Yamaha. Because the Japanese manufacturer will be celebrating 50 years of participation in the event the Grand Prix.

To celebrate, Yamaha held a number of events throughout the weekend at Assen this. Yamaha will also display the livery or the newness of the motor M1 is used duo rider, Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies.

"Now we are in second place, we came here to put pressure on league leaders. I have to perform optimally. The team is focused, and I hope I can go back at least finish on the podium," said Lorenzo.

Lorenzo Yamaha Shock Test Results


Defending champion Jorge Lorenzo started the pre season 2011 with satisfactory results in the test session which took place at the Sepang Circuit, Malaysia, Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Lorenzo recorded the second fastest time with 2 minutes 01.997 seconds.

Lorenzo only lost to Repsol Honda rider Casey Stoner, who was sitting in first place with a time of 2 minutes 01.574 seconds. This result was unexpected by Yamaha for Lorenzo's team manager who represented Wilco Zeelenberg.

World Champion Lorenzo & Print record in Valencia


Jorge Lorenzo confirmed the 2010 MotoGP world championship title by winning the Valencia GP on Sunday night local time, 7 November 2010. Lorenzo also carve out a record before the public.

This Spaniard won the MotoGP series to the 9th of this year. Lorenzo also complement the incision 345 MotoGP victory at the event.

Fastest Lorenzo, Rossi's Top 5 Failed Login


Jorge Lorenzo emerge as the fastest in Free Practice session I in the Australian MotoGP. Yamaha rider was on Friday, October 15, 2010, recorded a time of 1:41.146 seconds.

Lorenzo had just won his world title last week ahead of the 0334 second rider Casey Stoner host. Stoner, who recorded a time of 1:41.480 riding a Ducati.

Meanwhile, Valentino Rossi was thrown from the top five. He occupies the seventh position, 1480 seconds slower than Lorenzo.
