In a Twitter account, Rooney told fans that he had planted the hair on his head. Hair Planting is done at a reputable clinic in London.

"Just to inform all my followers that I have been growing hair. I was bald at the age of 25 years so why not. I'm happy with the result," Rooney wrote in his account.

"It's still a bit bruised and swollen. When it falls down you will first see. All people recommend a good hair oil," Rooney joked.
